Privacy Policy

What SuperLive handles when you browse, match, and talk on cam — camera and microphone access, cookies, moderation signals, and the privacy decisions that stay with you.

The short of it

SuperLive puts two strangers face to face in a live video chat, and starting costs nothing. This policy explains what information the service touches when you read a public page, join a match, or keep an account. Public pages — this one, the FAQ, the blog — ask for no account and collect nothing personal about you.

Camera and microphone permission

Video chat runs on your camera and microphone, and both permissions come from your browser — which is also where you switch them off again. The camera only turns on when you allow it, and every call stays a private two-person affair: no group rooms, no public broadcasts, no audience watching. Nothing installs on your device.

The data that keeps it running

Keeping a live matching service up requires some technical data: approximate device and browser details, server logs carrying IP addresses and timestamps, and usage patterns across pages. If you open an account, it stores whatever you type into it. Coins are handled by external payment processors, so complete card numbers never reach our servers — the same split is described in the terms of service.

Cookies, in brief

Cookies hold your session together, remember preferences, and show us which pages actually get read. A few are strictly necessary for the site to work at all; the analytics kind stays anonymous. The full breakdown lives in the cookie policy, including how to refuse or clear them in any browser.

Reports, blocks and moderation

Tapping report or block can attach session context to a moderation review, which gives the team what it needs to act on abuse and rule-breaking. That loop keeps repeat offenders out of the matching queue. The rules it enforces are written out in the community guidelines.

What stays in your hands

Camera on or off, stay or skip, keep an account or never make one — the call is always yours to end and the tab is always yours to close. You can ask us to correct or delete account data any time through the contact page. Personal information is never sold, full stop.
